Alive to Serve

Alive to Serve is a cbo based in Tana River County, North Coast of Kenya. Wbelieve that we are alive to serve and that we are blessed to bless. We believe in serving the almighty God, through serving our fellow human beings. we serve people from any religion, ethnic background or social status.

After more than 10 years of cross cultural mission work in kenya and beyond, I envisioned founding ALIVE TO SERVE organization to enable many people from different faiths and social status and professional backgrounds to get a platform to serve the needs of fellow human beings.

Tana River Drought - October 2021 This drought has caused herders to lose their animals and the farmers have not been able to grow any crops.  Families are literally starving. A gift of $25 feeds a family for a month.

Helping Children with School

Alive to Serve strives to see that each child gets the right to get an education.  Alive to Serve has made relationships with many children who struggle to attend school.  Your financial support can guarantee the each of these children can receive everything they need for each semester of school.

Jasmine – Age 6

Jasmine is deaf.  She is the firstborn in a family of four children.  Because she has a hearing challenge, Jasmine attends a special needs boarding school.

Sammy – Age 12

Sammy is blind and orphaned.  When Peter, from Alive to Serve, met Sammy and his aunt (caretaker), Sammy was malnourished and not well cared for.  He requires a specialized boarding school and support.

Anderson – Age 7 | Liz – Age 11

Anderson and Liz live with their elderly grandparents after their mother passed away 5 years ago and their father neglected them.  Their mother Lydia was born into a Christian family but married a Muslim.  She died carrying her third baby in the fourth month of the pregnancy.  After the burial of their mother, the father never returned or offered any support.  They go to day school, nearby their home.

Jacob – High School

Jacob lives in Marsabit with his single mother, Esther.  His in Form 3 of high school.  Jacob is very active in the children’s ministry with, the leader, Grace who ministers to 50 kids every Friday.  His tribe is Turkana.

Patience – High School

Patience is an active member of Peter’s church.  She is a leader in the youth group and choir.  She is Form 3 of high school.  Her parents are separated and she lives with her paternal grandmother.
